Garleton Lodge, a 5-star hotel in East Lothian, have partnered up with a local kitchen design company to bring forward the launch of their very own cookery school as a ‘pop-up’ using Kitchens By Coast’s showroom at Newcraighall.
The Garleton Lodge Cookery School will give both guests of the hotel and non-residents the opportunity to take part in cookery classes and demonstrations as well as enjoy chef’s table dining. Sessions will be run by Garleton Lodge’s Angela Cockerton. Angela has significant experience in the food and drink industry, also having taught cookery in both the UK and the Middle East.
Garleton Lodge will also be launching a range of Culinary Escapes. The perfect experience for any foodie, the weekends will be filled with luxury- and local- food and drink. The details of these weekends been will be released shortly so keep an eye out on Garleton Lodge’s website and social channels for more information.
The Cookery School isn’t the only foodie offering at Garleton Lodge. Guests of the hotel can experience a taste of East Lothian whilst dining at the hotel – the bar is also stocked with an array of local alcoholic beverages and menus incorporate a wide range of locally sourced food products.
Garleton Lodge is also home to The Chocolate Stag, a luxury artisan chocolatier that produces a range of high quality, hand crafted chocolates. From gin and tonic truffles to salted caramels, there is something for every type of chocolate lover in their boxes of assorted chocolates. A new, extended range of chocolates has also just been developed including mini bars, bars & slabs and we understand that a Chocolate Club/Loyalty Programme is coming soon – an ideal gift or just a great way to ensure that you receive your regular chocolate ‘fix’.
